Don’t Breathe A Word

I just finished reading the book Don’t Breathe a Word by Jennifer McMahon. I thought it started out slower than I should have, but it didn’t take long before I couldn’t put it down. The book follows two characters, Lisa and Phoebe, during two time periods. It was a bit confusing keeping track of whether or not we were in the present or 15 years ago, but it wasn’t that hard. I was worried the book would be hokey, since the premise behind it is that Lisa disappeared to the Land of Fairies, but I thought McMahon did an absolute wonderful job. And the end? All I’ll say is WOW.
